The Department of Ophthalmology
and Visual Sciences at the University of New Mexico (UNM) Health Sciences
Center is expanding and seeks an outstanding pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus surgeon to join
our rapidly growing group.
Applicants must have
completed an accredited pediatric
ophthalmology and strabismus fellowship. The successful
candidate will be expected to develop a busy clinical practice at the UNM
Hospital Eye Clinic, and will share responsibility with existing faculty for call
and medical student and resident education. Candidates are expected to have a
strong commitment to clinical care, teaching, and research in an academic
setting. As part of the UNM Health System, the Eye Clinic provides a
rewarding mix of tertiary and indigent care.

Rank and salary will be
commensurate with experience and credentials.

There are two national laboratories nearby: Sandia and Los Alamos.
