Position Summary:
The College of Education and Technology seeks a qualified individual as an assistant or associate professor of curriculum and instruction in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Experience in elementary Mathematics teaching and connecting theory to practice is required. This position focuses primarily on preparing teacher candidates to teach Mathematics in the elementary classroom. Responsibilities include a 12-hour undergraduate/graduate teaching load per semester (face-to-face, synchronous, online and/or via lecture capture), active participation in programmatic assessment, student advising, completion of scholarly endeavors, and service to the university and the profession. The appointment will be at a rank commensurate with academic training and experience. This is a residential appointment and campus presence is required.
