Our greatest asset has been and will continue to be our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of an Operation Specialist within our Reliability and Maintenance group based in Carlsbad, NM.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Ensure a safe working environment in compliance with all company and governmental rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for monitoring the condition of rotating equipment in the Delaware Basin.
  • Safely run vibration routes in the Carlsbad NM and Pecos, TX areas.
  • Use the Emerson 2140 handheld vibration analyzer to collect vibration data on motors, pumps, compressors etc.
  • Use Emerson's AMS software to analyze vibration data, identify equipment faults, and write detailed reports.
  • Input data into SAP as required.
  • Attend equipment teardowns to document faults.
  • Prepare for and Participate in Safety and Business meetings.
  • Conduct safety audits with HES
  • Create and monitor metrics to support cost and completion targets.
  • Company vehicle - inspect and maintain in a safe and reliable condition.
  • Control daily spending and look for ways to maximize production and cut cost.
  • Provide attention to detail, and dedication to work to ensure reliability of the work site.
  • Participate on area process hazard review teams as requested.
  • Assist with special projects as requested.
  • Assist operations where needed.

Schedule:

  • 9/80 work schedule

Qualifications
  • 5 years of vibration analysis experience and a vibration level II certification or higher.preferred
  • Preferred knowledge of electric motors, centrifugal pumps, split case pumps, H-pumps, screw compressors, air compressors, etc.
  • Good verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Must be able to write technical reports with clear and precise language.
  • Should be proficient with Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership qualities.
  • Demonstrates and promotes HES and regulatory awareness and compliance.
  • Preferred strong business background and in-depth understanding of key financial measures.
  • Demonstrated ability to align Business Unit strategy with corporate strategies and goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build/maintain team cohesiveness, effectively motivate and interact with fellow team members, leaders, vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with other teams or departments, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative to assist other teams and team leaders in better utilizing best practices, resources, and alliances across the Company.
  • Strong and proven analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have valid driver's license with a good driving record.
