The HSC Center for Native American Health is seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated, and exceptionally knowledgeable person who has experience in Native American education to oversee its Student Development core.
The Education & Outreach Manager will be an administrative partner to the CNAH director. They will have working knowledge of Indian education theories and academic success strategies for Native American students and effectively engage tribal leaders, Native students, UNM leaders, and academic institutions such as tribal colleges and universities, and the public, tribally operated, and Bureau of Indian Education school systems. They will also have experience and skills in pipeline program and grant development that is needed to grow the Student Development and Tribal Health Workforce core.
Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
